For the love of art… the pandemic forced a global lockdown in the year 2020. Factories, offices, schools, travels, vehicular traffic all grounded to a halt, but we were determined to thrive.

Moriri Centre which houses the gallery had just been fully renovated at the beginning of the year and the thought that the tastefully finished space would go to waste due to the remote work, social distancing amongst other pandemic outcomes inspired the full dedication of the space as an institutional space for artists in the south – south city of Port Harcourt, River State, Nigeria to impact the creative industry and to push a positive narrative, post – COVID.

Here we are now, welcoming artists, art lovers, enthusiasts and collectors to create a community and a viable ecosystem.
